Why hire a Home Inspector?

Your new home may be the largest and most expensive investment you will ever make.  With an "Inspection Contingency" in your offer to purchase, your obligation to purchase is limited until you are satisfied by a professional home inspection that the physical condition of the property is acceptable to you.  A professional home inspection by a qualified home inspector will also provide you with a feeling of security and peace of mind with your new purchase.

Can Your Home Stand up to an Inspection?

When you are purchasing any home, whether it is an existing home or a custom built home, you may want an inspection report.  Having a general home inspection has become an essential part of the home buying process for those wise buyers who want to be sure that their money is being spent wisely.

What is a Home Inspection?

A home inspection is a thorough, in-depth visual examination of the major structure and operating components of a home.  You should be present at the inspection so that the inspector can point out areas of concern during the inspection as well as educate you, the buyer, as to proper maintenance procedures.  This information will assist you in making an unemotional, intelligent and informed decision.

Choosing the right Home Inspector

Good home inspectors will provide a quality report, be certified by the state of Wisconsin, follow ASHI standards, receive ongoing training (CE Credits) and have E&O insurance.

My Qualifications

I have been a professional licensed home inspector for more than ten years.  I attended and graduated from the American Home Inspector Training Institute in New Berlin, Wisconsin and have inspected hundreds of homes for satisfied customers.

I am a member in good standing of WAHI (Wisconsin Association of Home Inspectors)  and NAHI (National Association of Home Inspectors)  and go to CE classes on a regular basis.

Previous to becoming a licensed home inspector, I was a home builder and remodeler.
